Summer is a holiday time for our school, but the studies continue! We recommend to draw every day, with every occasion — and while the summertime is here it is really convenient to do this outside. You can make tremendous amount of sketches during the summer. Where? For instance:

— At the zoo. Watch the animals, draw them in motion — and have fun!

— At the beach. The only difference between beach and studio sketches — walls.

— At the picnic. Parks, forests and other green zones are great sources of inspiration.

— On the train or plane. While waiting for the arrival you can make tremendous amount of sketches!

Just don't forget what you already learned at the School: use overlaps, straight vs curved lines, define the composition. Use all the opportunities to draw: at the end of the summer you will get the notebook full of seasonal impressions, and your skill will be sharper than ever when the school starts.
